WebCryptococcosis is occurred by inhaling dust from soil contaminated with bird droppings, particularly those of pigeons. All fungi are gram-positive. For Cryptococcus spp. identification other physiological tests like sugar (glucose, galactose, sucrose, maltose, lactose, trehalose) fermentation and sugar assimilation tests are used.
