WebI went earlier this summer to the Ely base. It was secondary fun. Grueling and hellish while you are there, but it was a good time looking back on it. Bring copious amounts of Gold Bond. This stuff helps a lot, cause your feet are always wet during the day and it is so nice at the end of the day. Also, take a route with as few portages as possible.
