After notifying Phoenix of this fact, I had to deal with numerous departments for a Life Policy and three small personal pensions.

The cheque issued by Phoenix Life Limited to me for my mother’s life insurance has bounced. I telephoned Phoenix and asked for a bank transfer and was told that this was not possible. They only gave very vague assurances that “hopefully” the cheque would be re-presented “soon”.
